Gainesville Warriors, Inc.

The Gainesville Warriors AAU Basketball Program was organized in December 2005.

The mission of the program is to provide female athletes ages 9 thru 17 years old living in Florida the opportunity to improve their basketball skills through preparation, conditioning, and training in fundamentals, while providing opportunities for competitive play at the national and or international levels of amateur competition.

During the first year, turnout was great and five teams were formed. The ages of those teams were 11u, 12u, 13u, 14u, and 16u. The Warriors competed in AAU, USSSA, and NCAA sanctioned tournaments. The 16u team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in an exposure tournament held at Georgia Tech in which all college coaches attended.

Today, we currently have all levels of play for girls. We play in some of most prestigious AAU/NCAA sanctioned tournaments. Our teams comprise some of the best talent found in the state of Florida.
